What data do boaters want?

Who will be the primary users of BIS?

The BIS Advisory Board

Who funded BIS and what is our goal?

What do we mean by 'boaters'?

The BIS Advisory Board

The second meeting of the BIS Advisory Board was held on 15 October 2004, and was attended for the first time by our outside boaters recruited from the surveys.

These key board members were sailors, power boaters, a fisherman, and a sea kayaker, all active boaters and eager to help make BIS all it can be for boaters.

We presented preliminary findings and asked their counsel on various issues that have already benefited from their experience. We will continue to seek their advice.
